What happens when you delete the System32 folder in Windows?

What is System32?

System32 is part of every version of Windows. It contains files critical to the system, and is required in order for Windows to boot and function properly. It also contain system untilities, like hddwiz.exe. It contains SYS files which are associated with drivers for hardware (e.g. your speakers). Despite its name, it contains 64 bit system files.

What if it's deleted?

If you do so, you're completely destroying your Windows OS. Taskmgr will stop working. The power button trigger will be killed. If you try to forcibly reboot, you will get that shitty blue screen of death every time you turn on your PC. And there is absolutely no fucking way out of that boot loop. The only way to fix it is to reinstall Windows. So don't do it!

The error you get at the absence of System32.
